VoidPOS provides two related products, together referred to as the “Service”: the VoidPOS web platform, and the VoidPOS Go Android app (see Section 3). VoidPOS (web) is a cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) platform that provides the following features, depending on your subscription plan:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
VoidPOS Go is a native, offline-first Android point-of-sale app, distributed as an APK download and, where available, through the Google Play Store. These Terms apply to VoidPOS Go in addition to the general provisions above; where this section conflicts with a general provision, this section governs for VoidPOS Go specifically.
VoidPOS Go is offered on three subscription tiers, billed monthly or yearly through Paddle:
There are no per-transaction fees on any VoidPOS Go plan. Signing in on a new device beyond your plan’s limit, or on a different account than the one already registered to a device, may trigger the app’s anti-hijack device guard and lock the affected device until re-authorised.
VoidPOS Go is designed to keep operating without an internet connection: transactions are stored locally on your device and synchronised to your cloud account automatically once connectivity is restored. You are responsible for ensuring your device periodically reconnects to the internet so that your data stays backed up and synced across devices on Duo/Team plans.
VoidPOS Go requires Android 8.0 or later. We do not guarantee compatibility with modified, rooted, or unsupported Android builds, and reserve the right to decline support for issues arising from such configurations.
You may permanently delete your VoidPOS Go account and all associated data at any time, either from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or from go.voidpos.com if you no longer have the app installed. Both flows require re-authentication and a one-time emailed verification code before deletion proceeds. Full instructions are published at voidpos.com/go/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
To use VoidPOS, you must register for an account using a valid email address and verify that email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by employees you add to the system. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Employee accounts are created and managed by the business owner. The owner is responsible for the actions of their employees within the system and for maintaining appropriate PIN security.
VoidPOS (web) offers the following subscription plans with monthly billing:
VoidPOS Go offers Solo, Duo, and Team plans, billed monthly or yearly, as described in Section 3.1.
Prices shown are in USD and may be adjusted for your region. All prices are displayed before you commit to a purchase.
New VoidPOS (web) accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the Starter plan. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, access is restricted until a plan is purchased. VoidPOS Go does not currently offer a free trial; all plans require an active subscription from sign-up.
Payments for both VoidPOS and VoidPOS Go are processed via Paddle, our merchant of record. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, per your selection). All payments are in USD unless Paddle displays a localised currency at checkout.
Our refund terms are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: first-time purchases on any VoidPOS or VoidPOS Go plan are eligible for a refund if requested within 14 days of payment; renewal payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. See the Refund Policy for exceptions, the request process, and processing timelines.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. On VoidPOS (web), cancel from the Billing & Plan section of your admin dashboard. On VoidPOS Go, cancel from your plan management screen in the app or from go.voidpos.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until the period ends.
If you exceed the product, employee, or device limits of your plan, you will be prompted to upgrade. Existing data is preserved when you upgrade or downgrade.
You agree to use VoidPOS only for lawful business purposes. You must not:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
You retain full ownership of all business data you input into VoidPOS, including product data, transaction records, and employee information.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase Realtime Database, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. By using VoidPOS, you agree to Google’s terms of service as they apply to Firebase.
On Standard and Premium plans, you may export your transaction data as CSV or JSON at any time from the admin dashboard.
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings section of your admin dashboard. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Security Rules, and server-side authentication. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
All software, designs, graphics, and content provided by VoidPOS are the intellectual property of VoidPOS or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited licence to use it as described herein.
You grant VoidPOS a non-exclusive licence to use your business data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VoidPOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold VoidPOS harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain your data for a reasonable period before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
